Announces Results of AGM

September 19, 2011

AM Gold Inc. (TSX-V: AMG; Frankfurt: AMX) (“AM Gold” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that all resolutions were passed at the Company’s Annual General and Special Meeting of Shareholders held in Vancouver, British Columbia, on September 15, 2011.  The number of directors has been set at five and includes the re-election of John Fiorino, Mark Lawson, Dennis Goldstein, Dr. Stewart A. Jackson, and Dr. E. Kelly Hyslop.  Ken Lee and Company, Chartered Accountants, have been re-appointed as auditors of the Company for the ensuing year. Also passed, was the approval of the continuation of the Company’s 10% rolling share option plan for the ensuing year. Additionally, shareholders approved the adoption of the Company’s shareholder rights plan.
