Up To 46.5 G/T Gold From New Mineralized Zone Discovered At Pinaya, Peru

September 6, 2006

Acero-Martin Exploration Inc. (the ‘Company”) is pleased to report that its exploration program at the Pinaya Copper-Gold Property, located in southern Peru, continues to identify new zones of gold and copper mineralization. Recently, the Company has discovered a new gold zone, called Minas Jorge. Highlights from this zone include 10 samples exceeding 1.0 g/t Au, with a maximum value of 46.5 g/t Au.

The Minas Jorge zone is located approximately one kilometer northeast of the Gold Oxide Skarn Zone (GOSZ) at the main open-pit. Minas Jorge is defined as anomalous copper and gold mineralization located within a large NW-SE elongated zone covering approximately two square kilometers. This area has numerous small scale workings and showings. Three hundred and forty rock samples were collected from various workings and outcrops and three trenches were excavated. The Company has also completed an intensive deep induced polarization survey. Results therefrom are expected shortly.

141 of the 340 (41% ) surface samples collected in this area returned strongly anomalous gold values. 10 of the 141 samples returned greater than 1.0 g/t gold, with a maximum of 46.5 g/t gold. 47 of the 141 samples returned greater than 0.10 g/t gold. Copper values are commonly over 100 ppm, with 21 of the 141 samples returning greater than 1,000 ppm Copper. The highest value was 1.35% Copper.

Three trenches were excavated in the Minas Jorge area. Results from trench PTR-82 returned 72.4 meters of 0.32 g/t gold and 372 ppm copper. Other samples returned anomalous gold with values up to 2.4 g/t gold and 2,219 ppm copper.

Trench PTR-83 had two highly anomalous intersections of 13.5 meters of 0.32 g/t gold and 334 ppm copper and 17.3 meters of 0.46 g/t gold and 569 ppm copper. Samples outside these intersections returned anomalous values with individual samples returning up to 1.7 g/t gold and 1109 ppm copper.

The Company is continuing to sample and map the Minas Jorge area and will be selecting drill targets with compilation of surface and geophysical information. The Company will continue drilling next week on the Western Porphyry area.

Donald Gee, President said “The Minas Jorge zone certainly shows the tremendous potential for additional tonnage as the Company moves forward in defining its resource at Pinaya. There are numerous other targets within the property boundaries that show similar promise.” ”

Jeff Reeder, P.Geo, is the qualified persons under National Instrument 43-101 for the Pinaya project, and is supervising the quality control and quality assurance program. Rock and core samples are transported to SGS Labs (a laboratory certified by International Standards Organization 9002) in Lima, Peru. Gold values are determined by 30-gram fire assay fusion with an atomic absorption spectroscopy finish. All samples are also analyzed for 35 elements by ICP, total digestion, and those samples anomalous in copper are reanalyzed by atomic absorption (four-acid digestion). A quality control program of standards, blanks and duplicates is maintained.
